This pastel "Animal Square" design for Eleanor was based around one you could make with charm packs and jelly rolls, but I didn't use pre-cuts. I tried to pick fabrics that would make it light and feminine, but still a little preppy. I threw in a pop of bright color with Robert Kaufman's
Urban Zoologie Birds Spring Fabric

I did a free motion stipple pattern and was very happy with how it turned out, especially considering it was only my second time.
Once again, I worked with the satin border. I find it doesn't lie as flat as a cotton one, so it looks a little less-than-perfect, but I really like the textural difference.
