My First Project (August 2014)

This "Circus Quilt" was my first quilting project.  It was for my friend Caroline's son Lachlan.  I knew nothing about how to sew the pieces together, and ended up sewing a bunch of loose edge flaps.

I also knew nothing about the actual quilting process.  I didn't want there to be a bunch of stray marks on the back in case I made a mistake, so I tacked the layers together with intermittent ties, which I did on the sewing machine.
